When things—dark things—swoop and crawl from the pollution, something must be done to prolong the life expectancy of Trenton’s dying three-tiered world. Recruited for a last desperate attempt at ending the contamination, he takes on a grueling and perilous climb to the top of a colossal tower perched atop a high plateau. His mission; steal vital transporter equipment.

With the conditional aid of sketchy underground technology, Trenton abandons the safety of his familiar biosphere, a hardcore sacrifice he accepts for the slim hope of retaining the full use of his lower limbs, an enhancement he cannot live without.
